Meet The Team

Meet Patti: I am a Registered Dietitian and Licensed in the state of PA. I obtained a BS in Health Education from Penn State and Nutrition from Rutgers University. I have worked within the UPMC System of Hospitals helping people learn to manage their acute illnesses and nutrition. I then worked the the Center For Eating Disorders and have since leaving there continued my journey in supporting those who struggle with Eating Disorders on their path to Recovery. My approach is one that treats the whole client, not just the disorder, with an individual plan that is built using a treatment team approach. While I will work to establish a structured meal plan, I will also encourage flexibility in a non-judgmental approach to healthy eating. I believe in the concept that all foods can fit into a healthy diet and that there is not one "perfect diet plan" for everyone to follow. I also believe that we do have the ability to to eat intuitively and I approach general healthy nutrition as being able to recognize or build your own healthy guidelines within evidence supported good nutrition practices. Meet Kim: Kim has experience as Registered Dietitian as a Health Coach. She earned her BS and MS degrees from the University of Pittsburgh. Professionally, Kim has worked as a clinical dietitian in both adult and pediatric settings. She has experience working with clients who have complex medical histories and need thorough nutrition education to get them back on the right path. As a board-certified health and wellness coach, Kim can help you identify your motivations for improving your health, and together design a plan to practically apply evidence-based nutrition guidelines to your daily life. Areas of interest include Type 2 Diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure, weight management, and women’s health. Currently accepting referrals for Virtual Appointments only. * Kim accepts Highmark and UPMC insurance. Coming Soon!! I would like to introduce Brooke: Brooke is currently a Registered and Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist in Pennsylvania. She attended Thiel College for her undergraduate degree and the University of New England for her Masters of Science in Applied Nutrition. She also recently completed the Diabetes Certificate of Training from the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, which allows her to better care for clients who would like support with this condition. When not working one-on-one with clients, she serves as the Food Services Director for a local school district. She lives in Beaver County with her husband and two children. I have partnered with Jenni Costello with Embody Therapy. To look into Jenni's services and schedule, Please visit her site at: www.embodytherapypractice.com
